The Four Basic Food Groups and foods in them.

1. Fruits and Vegetables (you should have four servings a day)

Fruits Vegetables

orange apple Banana peach potato green beans peas carrots

pear melon grapes corn broccoli tomato onion squash

2.Breads,Cereals, and Grain (you should have four servings a day)

Whole-wheat bread pumpernickel bread rye bread white bread oatmeal rice

whole wheat pasta grits waffles whole grain cereals

3.Milk and Milk products (you should have two servings a day)

Milk Butter Milk Yogurt cheese ice milk ice cream

4.Poultry, Fish, Meat, Legumes, Eggs, Nuts, and Seeds (you should have two servings a day)

chicken turkey fish dried peas soybeans pork lamb beef

fish nuts eggs sunflower seeds


If you eat 4 serving of group number 1 and 4 servings of group number 2

2 serving of group number 3 and 2 serving of group number 4 you will be giving your body

the nutrients it needs to grow strong.
